Spend 12 days exploring the best of Thailand from Bangkok, heading south to finish in the stunning Phi Phi islands.
The beauty of this group style of travel is that it caters to travellers who are travelling solo and who want to meet and share experiences with like-minded people.
Rooming is organised on a twin-share basis. Solo travellers will be paired with another traveller of the same gender.
There is also an optional single supplement available on most trips for travellers who prefer to have their own room.
Absolutely!
This trip includes some long drives on winding roads. If you experience severe motion sickness, this trip may not be suitable for you.
Some of the best scenery on this trip will be found on hikes. So, while this trip doesn't require a high level of fitness, it's essential to be at least moderately fit if you want to partake in all activities. Please ensure you bring sturdy walking shoes and comfortable clothes.
All countries require a valid passport (with a minimum 6 months validity).
Contact your local embassy or consulate for the most up-to-date visa requirements, or see your travel agent.
It is your own responsibility to have the correct travel documentation. Visa requirements for your trip will vary depending on where you are from and where you are going.
Yes, travel insurance is compulsory on this trip.
Every traveller is different and therefore spending money requirements will vary. Some travellers may drink more than others while other travellers like to purchase more souvenirs than most. Please consider your own spending habits when it comes to allowing for drinks, shopping and tipping. Please also remember the following specific recommendations when planning your trip.
You can have a plate of food for a street vendor for AU$2-$5, however there are always more expensive options. From a mid-range, sit-down restaurant, expect to pay AU$5-$30 - not including alcohol.
When visiting sites of religious significance, all travellers should wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. In some sites in South East Asia thongs are not allowed (ie. Royal Palace in Phnom Penh). Please check with your leader or local guide.
When you pack your clothing, consider the climate at the time of year you are travelling and any specific requirements for your trip as at certain times of the year some of the items suggested in the list that follow may not be necessary. Bear in mind that the weather will vary significantly from place to place. Most of the time the weather is warm in South East Asia; however, it may be distinctly cold up in the highlands. If there are specific requirements for a trip they will be noted here, in the Essential Trip Information. Laundry facilities are available in most destinations.

You won't believe how awesome this tour was! We went from the crazy busy streets of Bangkok to the absolute paradise of Phi Phi Islands. I'm talking exploring ancient temples and chowing down on seriously spicy street food. Our guide basically became our friend, making sure we soaked up all that Thai culture. Seriously, if I could, I'd give this adventure like a gazillion stars!

What a trip!! Phi Phi took my breath away. I have snorkelled quite a bit back in Aus so I was worried the water would be meh, but it was so clear and blue and we saw some nice marine life. Not having to worry about travel over the 12 days and just rocking up was such a bonus and we scored some cheap flights through a Jetstar deal so it was $$$ cheap!

Can't complain about this tour one bit. The people and guides were epic and it lived up to everything in the description. Was my first time travelling overseas and so glad I chose this tour. Cashback was a bonus - used it on some activities back in New Zealand.
